Gus Atkinson further complicated the injury concerns plaguing England when he left the playing area early on day two of the fourth Ashes Test against Australia.
Atkinson pulled up with his left hamstring post-delivery of the fourth over during the morning session.
The touring camp stated the 27-year-old reported "discomfort" and would spend time on the sidelines in order to be assessed "in the coming hours".
The series decider of the tour at the SCG gets underway this coming Sunday.
