The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Ex twice unified heavyweight champion Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
Despite those words, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - typically known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather criticized former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British rival Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the traditional face-off, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
